Family Garden

The Family Garden sits in the North West corner of the Rec, next to the Pavilion. The garden has plenty of quality seating, including picnic tables and benches. The hard landscaping is complemented by native species of plants which are great for pollinators. Several of the benches and tables have been supported by friends of the Rec, so you can look for the inscriptions as you enjoy the garden.

Bring a picnic or get a takeout from Pistachios in the Park cafe and make the most of the this purpose built space.

Selina Botham created the concept design and Rachel Jones, one of our Resident Trustees, worked from this to create the garden we have today.

The CRGT is grateful for the support of the Claygate Parish Council, Your Fund Surrey, The Werth Trust, Claygate Village Association, the Tree Council and all those who supported a bench to help us build the family garden.
